For anyone that is family with the “weekend update” done each week on SNL (Saturday Night Live) you’ll know that what you’re about to read is nothing like it. I just thought i’d mention that just incase anyone who *is* familiar with it, would be expecting that kinda thing. Get over it.
So its been basically forever since I’ve bothered to write anything on here and thats due to a few reasons. One major reason is that whenever I bother going on the computer now, I’m playing World Of Warcraft. Sure, you can call me a nerd and laugh but I don’t care, try it, you’ll get addicted to.
Other than that, just been busy with things in general, and yeah kinda lost the motivation to post on here, but like anything else I’m sure it will come back once i’ve been away from it long enough. From time to time I add video’s from youtube and I do try to keep my del.ic.ious up to date with recent news articles.
One last thing, for anyone that hasn’t heard yet about the tragic and sudden death of Heath Ledger, he passed away last week at the age of 28. Its a shame really considering how bright his future was looking and the fact that he just had a little one with Michelle Williams.

Just in case you didn’t get around to watching the ‘Bacon’ video below, I really suggest you should because I haven’t laughed that hard in a while over bacon. Come to think of it, I probably haven’t laughed that hard at bacon ever. Just watch it and see what I’m talking about instead of having me type it all out for you. Today is Thursday, well at least its technically Thursday although it still feels like Wednesday to me cause I haven’t slept yet.
Last night the Leafs won in a narrow victory over Carolina. The importance of this game is really being under looked by the Leafs organization apparently. With a then losing streak of five games, they went on a won without even thinking of the consequences. How are they supposed to lose every game left this season if they keep going on winning? It really doesn’t make any sense to me. On a more serious note, by winning in this city - it seems to erase the fact that only three days ago, everyone under the sun was demanding they trade Sundin and fire everyone on the management team. Now that they win a game though, perhaps Sundin can stay and management is alright. We’ll just wait and see………..42 years anyone?

Meaning what exactly? I’m not too sure, except for the fact that there is way too much going on in the news to single out any few stories and bother to write about them on here. I mean just this morning I see that a father has admitted to throwing his four children off of a bridge somewhere in the US. Then there is the report that shows that Toronto Schools are plagued with violence, a recent report that is. Are they serious? They are just realizing now that Toronto schools are full of violence? I mean this *is* the city where you will get mugged if asked for a cigarette and do not have one on you. But I’m still convinced we have a safe city, I’m just also convinced we have such a dumb society upon now with younger generations that they do not know any better. “This man tell me he no has cigarette, for this I see on t.v, now I hurt you…” They are simply too dumb to know what common sense is anymore. Hence, now they go to school, fail and continue to take out their aggression on teachers and other students. Blame the parents.
In better news, I am officially addicted to World Of Warcraft and I’m not even ashamed or embarrassed to say it. Sure, nerds all over the world have been playing this game for years and I’m proud to be part of them. Bring on the World.

Just finished this book and it was more than I had expected it to be going in. A very thoughtful and insightful book that leaves you feeling pretty good about life. I know I haven’t been posting much on here lately, simply because I’ve been very busy and haven’t had the chance to sit down and write an update post or really comment on anything going on in the world at the moment. Hopefully later on tonight I’ll have a chance to put up a few things I’ve been meaning to comment on. ‘Till then…

Due to a recent throat infection, posting will be delayed for a couple days as staring at the computer screen only encourages the never ending headache. Hopefully new postings will resume after the new year commences. Hope everyone has a great New Years!

During my random adventures on YouTube the other day, I stumbled
across a video with a thumbnail that looked very simular to the old
Nintendo Power Logo. Now many people probably have no idea what
Nintendo Power even is and in all honestly, its not really worth knowing
anymore. But for those that are interested, Nintendo Power was or maybe
still is a Game Strategy Magazine for Nintendo games that came out once
every few months to anyone willing to pay for such a thing. So being that I
am a very old school Nintendo fan that dates back all the way to 1989 and
the original Mario Brothers & Double Dragon, I felt compelled to watch.
The next few minutes I found very humorous and led me to search for the
source of these videos. As it happens, two brothers started a “contest” if
you will back on January 1st 2007 in which they could only communicate
via methods that did not involve text. Examples being Web Cam, Phone and in person. So after a little investigating I discovered the Nerd Fighters and well, the rest is history I suppose. Brotherhood 2.0 is actually very interesting and unique in the sense that, well I haven’t seen anyone else do it.

A while back I posted a few entries regarding the at the time state of Emergency that was being held over Pakistan. The return of former Prime Minister Bhutto has ended in her own death as well as the death of 20 others. This selfish and cowardly act was carried out just a few hours ago by insurgents at a local rally for Bhutto. Regardless of how this affects Pakistan’s future, you can be sure that if this reflects change in any shape to their moral stability, the U.S. will be the first to take a stand for any further war on Terror. Certainly it can be expected that this will cause some sort of out cry and rioting, lots of which has already began just hours after the attack. Lets just hope Bush can relax long enough to let Pakistan sort through this tragedy and overcome it on its own without dropping bombs and ruining another countries hope of having democracy.

In just a few hours it’ll be the holiday that everyone has come to known as Christmas and let me tell you - whether you are Christian or not, you enjoy Christmas. Why? Because regardless of your religion, you have time off work - you have gifts given to you at work and well, its an all around happy time regardless of your origins. So lets all take a few moments and celebrate Christmas and do a ridiculous amount of shopping on Boxing day. In case any Americans are reading this, Boxing Day is the 26th of December here in Canada and refers to Shopping Day a.k.a - the American Equivalent of Black Friday.
